4 AREAS TO DOWNSIZE TO HAVE MORE SIMPLE LIFE

So by downsizing, you have to figure out what you can do without. Can you do without 3 kitchen machines? Can you do without your old school books?

For me, I know that I need to downsize my schedule, because at the moment I am trying to slow down and I know I can’t handle so much at the time.

What do you need to downsize? It might seem a little overwhelming, when you try to take it all at once. Focus on the areas I created at a time you are happy with the progress and only then start with a new one.

YOUR SCHEDULE

If you feel like you have no time to do things you want to do or for people in your life, then you need to start by evaluating your schedule.

1. Write down everything that. Takes up your time and try to estimate how much of the time they take up.
2. Than make a list of things you HAVE & WANT to do. And decide what are you willing to give up , so you have time for what matters to you.
3. Select at least 1 thing you are going to take out of your schedule, and replace it it with something more important.

YOUR EXPECTATIONS

Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves or others. Maybe some of you want to balance busy schedule with work, family, hobbies and friends . Or maybe you expect yourself to be good at every area of your job. Or maybe you expect someone to the the same job the way you do, even though they do not have the same skills? But you need to downsize these expectations. It’s ok to be better, but don’t expect to be better today. You need to take small steps and give yourself time.

YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

All the negative thoughts need to go. I was very negative person in the past, but negative thoughts are only holding you back from full and happy life. If you have negative thoughts, you need to recognize when they are truthful and keep you realistic and when not.

Separate your thought into fact and fiction. Take time to declutter your mind, it will help you to lead more happier life.

YOUR STUFF

Downsize your stuff, if it gives you an excessive amount of stress. Focus on one area or room that is out of control and begin to declutter your home. Don’t try to sell everything at once. Observe when and what stresses you. Are you stressed when you cannot find a pan or cookbook? Are snacks and pasta falling out of your kitchen cabinets? Then start with the kitchen.

Don’t worry, if you are not satisfied where you’re at after your first time decluttering. It all takes time and patience. Be happy with each reward you get.

What do you need to downsize? What steps will you be taking?
